The membership at CBOP produces lumber for Simpson Lumber Company. The lumber is cut, kilned and then finished and package for shipping.  The mill was first owned and operated by St. Paul.  It was purchased by St. Regis and then sold later to Champion.  Simpson purchased the mill from Champion in 1986.
